Washington, D.C. (Tuesday, February 25th) – The Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse team (1-3) fell to the #12-ranked Georgetown Hoyas (4-0) 14-7 on Tuesday afternoon. The Hoyas jumped out to a quick two goal lead with both scores coming from Declan McDermott. The Mountaineers would follow that up with three straight goals of their own from Gouin and McCarthy (2). The Mount would have a 3-2 lead after one quarter of play. After back-to-back Hoya goals, Jared McMahon would even the game at four all. Georgetown would eventually take a 7-5 lead into the halftime break.

After both teams were held scoreless for the first six minutes of the third quarter, Kadin Kightlinger would bully his way in to register his second goal of the season.
