The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's indoor track and field teams are headed to the 2019 Northeast Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.  The meet will be held at the Ocean Breeze Track & Field Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y.

Admission
Ticket prices are $15 per day for adults, $5 per day for individuals 65 and older or under 18, and $20 for two-day pass. Children 10 years of age and under will be admitted free.  All NEC students with proper institutional I.D. will be admitted free. Doors will open for spectators at 8:00 am.

LAST YEAR AT THE NEC INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS: Mount St. Mary's captured its first Northeast Conference women's indoor track and field championship in 22 years at last year's NEC Championships.  Erin Jakot was named the meet's most valuable performer as the Mount took home the team title with 138 points.  The Mount men's team finished in sixth place at the meet. The Mount cleaned up in the individual awards with Jaskot winning MVP honors, Kayla Barnes Most Outstanding Performer (Sprints), Erin Sample Most Outstanding Performer (Throws) and Dominique Jeffery Co-Rookie of the Meet.  Jaskot is the first Mountaineer to win MVP honors at the NEC Indoor Championships since Heather Moul in 1998.  Jeffery is the third Mountaineer to win NEC Rookie of the Meet honors, joining Barnes (2018) and Ashley DeCruise (2008).  Click HERE for a full recap.
