EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 17, 2020) – A trio of high school women's basketball standouts committed to the Mount recently, signing National Letters of Intent (NLI) to play as members of the Class of 2025.
"To be able to bring in such a solid group of student-athletes while dealing with so many recruiting restrictions, we really couldn't be happier!" Head Coach
Maria Marchesano said. "This group is very diverse in their abilities but one thing they all have is common is they are all super competitive, and we are excited to see them develop in our systems."

Lindsay-Huskey continues the trend of having a Frederick County player on the team, following
Kendall Bresee from Urbana. Jasmine comes from St. John's Catholic Prep, where she is on pace for 1,000 career points while serving as a team captain. In 2019, the guard was named to the Frederick News-Post All-Area Honorable Mention Team, and she has earned numerous All-Star and All-Tournament selections. Lindsay-Huskey is also an honors student with distinction, a member of the Black Student Union and a third generation Mount attendee. Her grandmother is a 1980 and 1982 graduate and her mother is a 2009 graduate.
Marchesano on Lindsay-Huskey: "Getting to know Jasmine and her family throughout the recruiting process has been awesome. She is a player that fits into our system and into the college game as a whole very well. Jasmine is an extremely unselfish player that is not afraid to do the little things it takes to win."
Maddie McCrea
Hometown: Allentown, N.J.
Allentown High School
Position: F | Height: 6'1
A High Honor Roll student and First Team All-Conference selection, McCrea comes to the Mount from the Trenton area. With the Redbirds, she averages 14 points per game and over eight rebounds, helping the team win a Group 3 State Championship as a freshman. Honors for her play began in her freshman year with an honorable mention and progressed to Third Team as a sophomore and First Team as a junior.
Marchesano on McCrea: "Maddie is one of the more skilled post players we have seen in our time here at the Mount. Her ability to see the court and pass the ball were two of the qualities that drew us to her right away. She is a team player, hard worker, and truly loves to play the game – all qualities we look for in a recruit."
