EMMITSBURG, Md. (August 25, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's women's basketball releases its schedule of games for the 2025-26 season, as they hope to build on a fourth place finish in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) and a tournament semifinal appearance.
A full list of games can be found on the Mount's website. Season tickets go on sale for the general public on September 10, with individual game tickets available on September 24. Information on game promotions for the upcoming season will be announced in the coming weeks.
The season begins with a challenging three-game road stretch, opening at Richmond (Nov. 4). From there, the Mount heads to Pittsburgh (Nov. 8) and Bucknell (Nov. 12). The team seeks its first victory over the Panthers, seventh over the Spiders, and eighth against the Bison.
Morgan State is the opponent for the home opener on November 15
th, as the Bears travel to Emmitsburg for the first time since 2016. Three other non-conference opponents – UMES (Nov. 26), Lehigh (Dec. 7), and Mercyhurst (Dec. 15) – also challenge the Mount on the Knott Arena floor. Non-conference play rounds out with the Catholic Clash renewal at Loyola (Nov. 20) and a tilt with Maryland (Dec. 3).
MAAC play begins with a home game against Marist December 19, in a rematch of a conference tournament game where the Mount held on to withstand a furious Red Foxes comeback. Iona comes in on December 21, completing a four-game homestand for the team. Fellow MAAC institutions battling in Emmitsburg include Quinnipiac, Canisius, Niagara, Merrimack, Saint Peter's, Fairfield, Sacred Heart, and Rider. Important dates for women's home games include Winter Homecoming against Merrimack (Jan. 24) and Senior Day versus Rider (Feb. 28).
This year at the MAAC Championships in Atlantic City, the tournament moves up to begin on March 5, with a champion being crowned in primetime on Tuesday, March 10.
Mount St. Mary's went 15-16 with a 12-8 mark in the MAAC. Head Coach
