EMMITSBURG, MD (August 24, 2026) – The Metro Conference announced their 2026-27 women's basketball schedule on Monday, releasing the 20-game slate of their 13 institutions, including Mount St. Mary's.
Combined with their non-conference schedule,
announced on August 5, the Mount will play 32 regular season games. 14 of those games will take place at Knott Arena at the PNC Sports Complex, matching the number of home games from last season.
Metro Conference games begin on December 19 and 21 with home contests against Niagara and Canisius. Both games are scheduled for 1 p.m. starts. While 2026 turns into 2027, Mount St. Mary's will hit the road to play Marist (Dec. 29) and Manhattan (Jan. 3).
There are five home contests in the month of January, as the Mount welcomes Rider (Jan. 7), Sacred Heart (Jan. 13), Manhattan (Jan. 21), Iona (Jan. 23), and three-time defending conference champion Fairfield (Jan. 30). Along the way, the team takes to the road for five more games. After Manhattan, the team travels to Siena, Fairfield, Saint Peter's, and Merrimack.
A rematch with the Saints at home on February 4 serves as a Kids' Day game with an 11 a.m. start time. There are two final home games that month with Marist (Feb. 18) and Quinnipiac (Feb. 20). As for road games, the Mountaineers head to Rider, Sacred Heart, Canisius, and Niagara.
Purchasers of men's basketball season tickets are eligible to attend women's basketball games as well. Season Ticket renewals for the 2026-27 campaign will go on-sale on Tuesday, August 25

Last season Mount St. Mary's finished third in the 13-team conference in attendance boasting the highest capacity rate for any Division I school in the region. Over those 14 games, the team went 9-5 on the Knott Arena floor.
