COMPLETE RESULTS
Annapolis, Md. (January 18, 2020)--The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's indoor track and field teams returned to action at the Wesley A. Brown Invitational hosted by Navy on Saturday.
Najae Nickerson paced the Mountaineers with a first-place finish in the 60m hurdles with a winning time of 8.89 seconds while teammate Emily Lewis finished third (9.11) and Karington Smith seventh (9.45). Nickerson posted a time of 8.83 seconds in the qualifying heat. Chardane Logan finished third in the 500m dash with a mark of 1:18.97 with Lewis placing fifth (1:21.42) and Chalys Caruth seventh (1:22.50). The 4x400m relay team finished third with a time of 4:01.65. In the high jump, Chelsea Wright finished third (1.55m), Kayla Hackett fifth (1.55m) and Ashlynn Cook seventh (1.50m) for the Mountaineers. Emily Eckard was seventh in the weight throw (13.16m).
On the men's side, Dylan LaNoue grabbed first place in the high jump with an IC4A qualifying mark of 2.05m with teammate Mikhail Brown finishing fifth (2.00m). Carter Nave had a sixth-place finish in the pole vault (4.75m) while Spencer Brown was fourth in the long jump (6.96m) and LaNoue sixth (6.76m). Sean Fahey grabbed first place in the triple jump with a leap of 14.32m with D.J. Hamilton finishing third (13.58m).
Todd Charles finished second (6.97) and Lewis Kungu fourth (7.01) in the 60m dash while Kungu was sixth in the 200m dash (22.47). Spencer Brown finished fifth in the 60m hurdles (8.73) while the distance medley relay team had an IC4A qualifying time of 10:26.12 in a second-place finish.
