Princeton, N.J. (May 13, 2018)—Justin Kimble and Kayla Barnes each earned All-East honors in the 100m dash to pace the Mount track and field teams at the IC4A/ECAC Championships on Sunday. The meet was held at Princeton University.
Kimble earned All-East honors by finishing in fifth place in the 100m dash. Kimble posted a time of 10.69 seconds in the finals after posting the third-fastest time (10.747) in the preliminary round.
Barnes earned All-East in the 100m dash with a time of 12.04 seconds. She had the sixth-fastest mark in the qualifying round (12.06) as well.
Erin Sample just missed All-East honors in the shot put, finishing in ninth place with a mark of 13.92m (45' 8"). The women's 4x400m relay team of Mariah McLane, Chardane Logan, Chalys Caruth and Clarke Hooper finished 10th in a time of 3:48.53.
Sean Fahey finished in 17th place in the triple jump (13.28m, 43' 7") while Matthew Selba finished 28th in the discus with a throw of 35.54m (116' 7").
