Boston, Mass. (March 4, 2018)—Justin Kimble and the women's 4x400m relay team of Mariah McLane, Chardane Logan, Chalys Caruth and Clarke Hooper each earned All-East honors on Sunday to pace the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's indoor track and field teams on the final day of the ECAC/IC4A Championships held at Boston University.
Kimble finished in fourth place in the 200m dash with a time of 21.50 seconds to earn All-East honors. The women's 4x400m relay team finished in seventh place at the meet with a time of 3:48.47 to secure All-East honors. It is the third consecutive race that the quartet posted their fastest time of the season, which is good for second on the Mount's all-time list.
Freshman Kayla Barnes finished ninth in the 200m dash with a time of 24.83 seconds to cap a terrific indoor season that saw her earn Northeast Conference Rookie of the Meet honors. Erin Sample finished 11th in the shot put with a toss of 13.47m (44' 2.5").
