ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mountaineers claimed their first victory of the season two weekends ago with a 2-1 overtime victory over American at Waldron Family Stadium. Chloe Cain finished off the game-winner to get the Mount in the win column and give first-year Head Coach Joe Nemzer his first career victory. Through the opening four games, the Mount sits at 1-2-1 overall, good for second place in the Northeast Conference.
Nine different Mountaineers have tallied at least one point this season, including Chloe Cain, Noelle DeFede, Bianca Gillman and Jenna West, who are tied for the team-lead with two points apiece. Maddy Bunnell has started all three games in net, posting a 1.88 goals against average and .692 save percentage.

SCOUTING BUCKNELL
The Bison remain undefeated on the year with victories over Monmouth (3-1), Saint Francis U (1-0), Wright State (2-0) and Syracuse (2-1), and a draw with Rider (1-1 2OT) last time out. Bucknell is averaging 1.80 goals per contest, led by Kendall Ham and Maddie Dano, who have combined for five of the team's nine goals this season. Goalie Jessica Ratner owns a 0.57 goals against average and .842 save percentage in five starts.
SCOUTING VMI
The Keydets own a 3-2 record this season with victories against South Carolina State (1-0), Hampton (7-0) and IUPUI (1-0), and losses to Eastern Kentucky (2-0) and Saint Peter's (1-0). Blake Cashin tops the squad with three goals while Kristen Whitehurst and Lizzy Cotter have a pair of goals apiece. Emily Marbury has started all five contests in net, posting a 0.86 goals against average and .850 save percentage.
INSIDE THE MATCHUPS
The matchup on Friday between the Mountaineers and Bison marks the 16th meeting all-time between the two programs. Bucknell owns a 13-1-1 advantage over the Mount, including wins in each of the last four matchups. The last victory for Mount St. Mary's came back in 2010 when the Mountaineers posted a 3-0 win in Lewisburg.
On Sunday, the Mount and VMI are set to face each other for just the third time in series history. Mount St. Mary's has won each of the first two meetings, claiming a 1-0 victory and 2010 and a 4-0 win in 2012.
