Workcuff and Scharpf Pace Mount Track at the Mount Multi's

Emmitsburg, Md.--Corie Scharpf and D.J. Workcuff paced the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams at the Mount Multi's, held at Morgan Track last Thursday and Friday. Scharpf finished in third place while Workcuff posted a fourth-place finish.

Scharpf had the best mark in the field in the high jump and tied for the top spot in the 200m dash. Workcuff had the best mark in the field in the 100m dash with an IC4A qualifying mark. He also had a leap of 7.07m in the long jump, an IC4A qualifying result and the top mark in the Northeast Conference this season.

The Mountaineers are back in action at the Bucknell Team Challenge on Saturday.
