SETTING THE SCENE
The Mount returns to action this weekend with a pair of Northeast Conference matchups at Waldron Family Stadium. On Friday, October 14, the Mount hosts Bryant at 4 p.m., before welcoming in Robert Morris for a match on Sunday, October 16 at 1 p.m.
ABOUT THE MOUNT
The Mountaineers split a pair of games last week, topping Hampton by a 7-0 margin at home before falling to conference foe Saint Francis U, 2-0, to move to 4-7-1 on the year. The seven goals vs. Hampton were the most for the Mount in a game since a 10-0 win over Delaware State back in 2005. Jaylyn Chandler led the way with a game-high five points in the contest on a pair of goals and one assist, while Jenna West (1g, 2a) added four points and Shayna Macfarlane (1g, 1a) and Dom Stauffer (1g, 1a) chipped in with three apiece. Macfarlane, Stauffer, Sarah Harmon and Andrea Rodriguez each registered the first goals of their careers in the contest.
Chandler, whose five points against Hampton marked a career high, currently ranks third in the NEC in both points (10) and goals (4), and fifth in assists (2). Sophomore Jenna West also ranks top-6 in the conference in all three scoring categories, placing third in assists (3), fifth in points (9) and sixth in goals (3). Goalie Maddy Bunnell ranks fourth in the league in goals against average (1.85) and owns a .771 save percentage in 10 starts in net.

SCOUTING BRYANT
The Bulldogs are tied for second in the NEC with a 2-1 record and sit at 6-7 overall on the year. They opened conference play with wins over Robert Morris (2-0) and LIU Brooklyn (2-0), but dropped a 3-0 decision to Central Connecticut last time out. Alison Guilmette, Haley Reddish and Kianna Woods are tied for the team-lead with six points apiece. Woods tops the Bulldogs with three goals, while Guilmette and Reddish have each registered two goals and a pair of assists. Kaylan Conrad has started 11 of 13 games in goal, posting a .800 save percentage and 1.05 goals against average.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
The Mount is undefeated in its last three matchups with Bryant and sits at 4-2-1 overall in the all-time series. Mount St. Mary's claimed 2-1 victories over the Bulldogs in both 2013 and 2014, and played to a 0-0 draw in the meeting last season.
SCOUTING ROBERT MORRIS
The Colonials currently sit in the cellar of the NEC with a 0-3 conference mark and 2-11 overall record. They have yet to score a goal in league play, falling to Bryant (2-0), Sacred Heart (3-0) and Saint Francis U (2-0). Jane Schleicher and Greer Monahan top the squad with two goals apiece, and Kasia Bak owns a team-high three assists on the year. Makenzie Shearson has registered a .691 save percentage and 2.44 goals against average in 12 starts in net.
INSIDE THE MATCHUP
The Mount and Robert Morris are set to meet for the 26th time in series history on Sunday with the Mount holding a 12-10-3 edge all-time. Last season, the Colonials earned a 3-0 victory over the Mountaineers in Emmitsburg.
