Philadelphia, Pa.--Heather Juhring finished in eight place and Kelly Yanucil in ninth in the women's javelin at the Penn Relays on Thursday night.

In the College Championship division, Juhring had a toss of 45.21m (148' 3") to earn her top eight finish while teammate Yanucil was right behind in ninth place with her throw of 43.52m (142' 9").

The women's 4x400m relay team of Desi Scott, Helena Leyrer, Corie Scharpf and Genamarie McCant finished second in their heat and 52nd out of the 82 teams in the field with a time of 3:58.10.
