Mount Track Concludes First Day at Fred Hardy Invitational

DAY ONE FIELD RESULTS | DAY ONE TRACK RESULTS

The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams completed the first day of the Fred Hardy Invitational hosted by the University of Richmond on Friday.  Kristen Galligan finished in third place in the 5,000m run to pace the Mountaineers.

Galligan had a time of 18:04.50 in the 5,000m while teammate McKenzie Doyle finished in eighth place at 18:44.23.  Jill Greenwald made her debut in the 3,000m steeplechase, finishing fourth with a mark of 12:07.77, also good for fourth on the Mount's all-time list.

Ali Donahue finished fifth in the women's hammer throw (45.85m) while Chase Boyle was seventh (45.55m) and Brendan Chavis eighth (44.39m) in the men's hammer throw.

Sara Gardner and Corie Scharpf finished tied for eighth in the high jump at 1.55m. 

The meet concludes Saturday.
