Akron, Ohio (February 7, 2015)—The Mount St. Mary's men's and women's indoor track and field teams rounded out the regular season at the Akron Invitational this past weekend.
Christopher Eltringham led the way for the Mount, finishing in second place in the 800m run with a time of 1:55.49. Julian Woods was fifth in the 60m hurdles with a mark of 8.20 seconds.
On the women's side, Jessica Whitmore finished 13th in the 60m dash (7.75 seconds) while Genamarie McCant was ninth in the 400m dash. Kristen Galligan finished 14th in the 5,000m run with teammate McKenzie Doyle placing 15th.
The Mountaineers are off until the Northeast Conference Championships which will be held on February 21-22 at the P&G Sports and Learning Complex, in Landover, Md.
