Chase Boyle Wins Weight Throw to Lead Mount St. Mary's Men's Track at Navy Invitational

Annapolis, Md. (December 5, 2015)--Junior Chase Boyle took home first place in the weight throw to lead the Mount St. Mary's men's indoor track and field team on Saturday in the season-opening meet at Navy. Boyle's winning throw of 18.19m (59' 8.25") broke the Mount's school record.

Boyle also competed in the shot put, finishing in fifth place at the meet. D.J. Workcuff had a busy day for the Mountaineers, finishing fourth in the high jump, sixth in the long jump and fifth in the 200m dash. Josh Poole posted a third-place finish in the 400m dash.

The Mount men's track and field team will not return to the track until after the New Year.
