Mount St. Mary's Women's Soccer Team Drops Final Game of Season at Robert Morris

Moon Township, Pa. (October 30, 2015)--The Mount St. Mary's University women's soccer team closed the 2015 season with a 3-0 loss at Robert Morris on Friday afternoon.  Senior Emma Blair paced the Mountaineer offense with three shots in the game.

Blair had a great scoring chance early in the game from 10 yards out, but Robert Morris goalkeeper Chelsea de Jager made a kick save to keep the game scoreless.  Robert Morris (9-9-0, 5-2-0 NEC) took the lead on a Gabrielle Corrente goal in the 34th minute.

Blair had another scoring chance in the early minutes of the second half, but her shot was again stopped by de Jager.  The Colonials were able to secure the win with a pair of goals later in the half.

Rachel Bourne made six saves for the Mountaineers (3-14-2, 2-4-2 NEC) in the opening half while Vicky Cocozza made three saves in the second half.  de Jager made four saves for Robert Morris.
