Philadelphia, Pa. (April 24, 2014)—Heather Juhring finished in fourth place in the championship division javelin to pace the Mount St. Mary's track and field teams on Thursday at the Penn Relays.
Juhring had a throw of 47.94m (157' 3") to finish in fourth place behind a pair from Penn State and one athlete from Florida State.
Elissa Ingram finished in sixth place in the college division pole vault as well. Ingram cleared 3.65m (11' 11.75") to earn her sixth-place finish.
The women's 4x400m relay team of Desi Scott, Maria Borland, Helena Leyrer and Genamarie McCant won their heat, and finished 45th overall in the field of 87 teams with a tie of 3:52.50. Madeleine Midles had a throw of 48.17m (158') to finish in 19th place in the hammer throw.
