THE ALL-TIME SERIES:  This will be the sixth meeting all-time between the Mount and Drexel with the Dragons holding a 5-0 lead in the series.  This is the fourth consecutive year the two teams will play.  Last year, the Mount lost 14-11 at Drexel.  Mount St. Mary's is 0-2 all-time at home against the Dragons.

LAST YEAR'S GAME:  Brett Schmidt scored five goals, but Drexel rallied for a 14-11 win over the Mount last season.  Schmidt's fifth goal of the game put the Mount ahead 10-8 with 1:47 left in the third quarter.  The Dragons, however, rattled off the next five goals of the game to earn the victory.  Andrew Scalley added a goal and three assists for the Mount in the loss.  Robert Church had four goals and three assists while Ben McIntosh finished with four goals and an assist to lead Drexel to the win.

THE MOUNT VS. RANKED OPPONENTS:  The Mountaineers are 5-51 all-time against ranked opponents since the move to NCAA Division I in 1989.  Mount St. Mary's is 0-2 against ranked foes this year, falling to then No. 6 Maryland, 16-3, in the season opener and then No. 4 Virginia, 14-6, at home on Feb. 25.  The last time the Mount played the No. 20 team in the country was a 16-15 overtime win over Robert Morris in the Northeast Conference Tournament semifinals on May 4, 2012.  The Mount is 5-12 against ranked teams since 2010.
