Sipperly answered that score with his third goal of the game with eight seconds left in the first to make the score 7-1 after one quarter.

The Bulldogs scored all three goals in the second quarter to go to the locker room with a 10-1 lead.  Bryant outshot the Mount, 29-12, in the opening half and held a 17-6 advantage in ground balls.

Mount St. Mary's (6-9) scored the first two goals of the third quarter.  Christian Kellett opened the scoring when he converted an Scalley pass early in the third quarter to cut the deficit to 10-2. Scalley then scored unassisted to make it a 10-3 game.  After a Bryant goal, the Schmidt twins connected when Bryant scored off a Brett pass to make the score 11-4 after three quarters of play.

Scalley scored just over two minutes into the fourth to cut the score to 11-5, but Dunster answered to make it a 12-5 Bryant lead.  Anthony Golden rounded out the scoring with a goal with 5:38 left in the contest.

Scalley, Brett Schmidt and Kellett each earned spots on the NEC All-Tournament team.  Scalley had six goals and three assists in the two games, Schmidt had three goals and one assist and Kellett scored four goals in the tournament.
