Princeton, N.J. (May 15, 2011)-Gigi Gibilisco finished in seventh place in the final of the 800m run at the ECAC/IC4A Champioinships on Sunday.  Tim Nickas earned All-East honors by finishing in fifth place in the decathlon with 6,655 points..

Yesterday, Gibilisco qualified for the finals in the 800m run to lead the Mount St. Mary's men's and women's track and field teams at the IC4A/ECAC Championships held at Princeton.  Gibilisco posted a time of 1:50.29 in the 800m to qualify for the final in the 800m run. 

Tom FitzSimons had a time of 15.21 seconds in the 110m hurdles while Quinton Huguley had a leap of 6.71m in the long jump for the Mount on Saturday as well.  The 4x400m relay team recorded a time of 3:18.84.

On the women's side, the 4x100m relay team of Chantel Lipkins, Lily Otu, Teika Robinson and Desi Scott had a mark of 48.05 seconds.  Madeleine Midles had a toss of 49.41m in the hammer throw while Scott had a mark of 56.29 seconds in the 400m dash.  The 4x400m relay squad of Scott, Otu, Katie Crumbaugh and Robinson also ran on Saturday.
