Quinton Huguley Wins Long Jump; Dylan Bernard Wins 5000m at Navy Invitational

Annapolis, Md. (December 3, 2011)--Quinton Huguley won the long jump and Dylan Bernard the 5,000m run to pace the Mount St. Mary's men's indoor track and field team at the Navy Invitational to kick off the 2011-12 season.

Huguley won the long jump with a leap of 6.76 meters. He also had the third-fastest qualifying time in the 60m dash at 7.05 seconds and finished eighth in the finals.

Bernard took home first place in the 5,000m with a time of 14:57.38. Tom FitzSimons was busy for the Mount, qualifying sixth in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.74 seconds while also tying for sixth in the long jump (6.36m). Steven Ha was third in the triple jump (14.15m) while Gigi Gibilisco was third in the 800m run (1:52.74).

The Mount is now off until the Bucknell Mini-Meet on January 7.
