Women's Soccer Falls at Robert Morris, 3-0

Moon Township, Pa. (October 14, 2011)--The Mount St. Mary's women's soccer team lost at Robert Morris, 3-0, in Northeast Conference action on Friday afternoon.  Playing on a wet field, the Mount was outshot by Robert Morris (9-5-1, 3-2-0 NEC) 22-to-6 in the game en route to the loss.

Robert Morris got on the scoreboard in the 27th minute when Ayanna Davis deflected a Darla Sebbens shot inside the right post for a 1-0 advantage.

Goalkeeper Alicia Miller made nine saves  to keep Mount St. Mary's (4-7-2, 2-3-0 NEC) in the game.  She stopped Davis on a breakaway in the 13th minute and made a nice stop in the 55th minute as well.

The Colonials made it a two-goal lead in the 72nd minute when Johanna Kadam scored on a cross from Jaimie Morra.

Kelly Baker had the Mount's best scoring chance of the day in the 78th minute, but her shot from 18 yards out was stopped by Robert Morris keeper Jessica Olin.

Robert Morris finished the scoring in the game on a Cassie Raymond goal in the 82nd minute.

The Mount returns to action on Sunday when Northeast Conference leader Saint Francis (Pa.) visits Waldron Family Stadium for a 1:00 p.m. game.
