The Mount St. Mary's men's indoor track and field teams completed the first day of competition at the Penn State National Invitational at the Horace Ashenfelter III Track in University Park, Pa., on Friday.

Josh Dzyak paced the Mount with a fifth-place finish in the pole vault with a mark of 4.40m. Chad Brown finished 27th in the 60m dash with a time of 7.09s.

Both the men's and women's teams return to action at Penn State on Saturday.
