No. 5 Johns Hopkins scored all 10 goals in the second half to
defeat Mount St. Mary's, 15-3, at the Mount's Waldron Family
Stadium on Monday afternoon. Leading 5-3 at the half, the Blue
Jays (8-4) outscored the Mount 7-0 in the third quarter to take
control of the game.

Kimmel beat Mount goalkeeper Joe Zolezzi for his 15th goal of the

penalized for an illegal crosse for a 3:00 unreleable penalty.
Instead of cutting the deficit to 6-4, the Mount saw the Blue Jays
take advantage of the mistake with a pair of extra-man scores on
the penalty to take an 8-3 lead. Kimmel and Steven Boyle converted
during the extra-man opportunity for Johns Hopkins.
Johns Hopkins took control from that point, getting goals from
Rabil, Kimmel, Boyle and Huntley over the final 3:59 of the quarter
to take a commanding 12-3 lead. The Blue Jays outshot the Mount
22-3 in the decisive third quarter.

after the Mount tied the game at 2-2 in the first quarter and made
nine saves in 43:49 of action to earn his first collegiate win in

Mount, making seven saves.
Rabil led Johns Hopkins with three goals and three assists for a

game this season.
