Emmitsburg, Md. (October 21,2007)--Central Connecticut State scored four times in the second half to surge past Mount St. Mary's, 4-2, in women's soccer action at Waldron Family Stadium on campus on Sunday. Central Connecticut State evened the game just 30 seconds into the second half when Brittany Emin headed home a cross from Beth Lloyd. Just under six minutes later, Rachel Caneen beat two Mount defenders and Lebo with a shot to the bottom left of the net to give CCSU a 2-1 lead. Leah Blayney made it 3-1 when she converted a Lloyd cross at the 54:48 mark.

The Mount cut into the deficit when Farrar beat Herd to the left-side after taking a long pass from Jenna Stern (Millersville, Md./Old Mill) to make the score 3-2 with 28:45 left in the contest. Caneen, CCSU's top scorer, answered with her second goal of the game when she took a through ball from Abby Graham to make the score 4-2 with just over 15 minutes remaining.
