SCOUTING THE GREYHOUNDS
Not only is Loyola also seeking their first win of the season, they are searching for their first positive result. The Greyhounds have fallen to St. John's, UMBC, Syracuse, and NJIT. Both goals so far this season came in a 3-2 defeat to the crosstown Retrievers, with Nino Venezia and Nick Laffey finding the back of the net for Loyola.
SERIES HISTORY
Friday marks the 31
st meeting between the teams. Frequent competitors in the Division II era, the Mount will face Loyola for only the eighth time as a Division I team. The sides last met in 2019 – a 4-2 Loyola win.
