EMMITSBURG, MD (August 30, 2026) – Back on the Waldron Family Stadium turf Monday, Mount St. Mary's men's soccer welcomes the Saint Joseph's Hawks.  
 
MOUNT UPDATE
 
Mount St. Mary's was able to hold opponents off the scoreboard for a third half before Duquesne was able to crack through the Mount's defense and emerge with a 2-0 win last Thursday. Ryan Collins added another three saves to his season tally and is one of two Mountaineers to play every minute so far, joined by defender Noah Kaiser.
 
SCOUTING THE HAWKS
 
Saint Joseph's comes into the match with a 1-0 win over NJIT and a 1-1 draw with Temple. Eddie Krupski and Mark Mazzoni are the goal scorers for the Hawks so far this season. In goal, Alex Smith has eight saves against the one goal allowed.
 
SERIES HISTORY
 
The Mountaineers and Hawks have competed twice before. Mount St. Mary's took the inaugural game 3-0 in 2006, and Saint Joseph's won 2-0 in 2024. Monday marks the first time the teams meet for a regular season game in Emmitsburg.
