Mount St. Mary's University

PITTSBURGH, PA (August 27, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's men's soccer fell to the Duquesne Dukes Thursday evening, 2-0, at Arthur J. Rooney Field.
 
Goalie Ryan Collins added three more saves to double his season total to six. The team registered six shots on offense, led by two from Daniel Morales Silva. Christian Kyriacou, Oliver Brown, Felix Alschner, and Camden Marquette all took a shot in the contest as well.
 
The result moves the Mount's record to 0-1-1 this season.

HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED

• The Mount held Duquesne out of the net in the first half, limiting the Dukes to one shot on goal.
• Cody Da broke through for Duquesne in the 59^th minute.
• As the Mount sent people forward to try and equalize, the Dukes put the contest away with a Jameson Michel goal with seconds left on the clock.

This coming Monday (Aug. 31), the Mount returns home to Waldron Family Stadium at the PNC Sports Complex to face Saint Joseph's. First kick is at 7 PM in Emmitsburg.
