EMMITSBURG, Md. (May 8, 2026) – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Outdoor Track & Field Championships return to Morgan Track on the campus of Mount St. Mary's this weekend.  
 
MEET INFORMATION
 
This is a ticketed event per MAAC postseason policy. Tickets can be purchased daily or as a weekend pass. Mount St. Mary's students are admitted free with proof of Mount I.D.
 
Parking is available in the lots surrounding the Knott ARCC, which is an 8-10 minute walk to the facility. Lots E and F are closest to the entrance. The Deegan Way lot near the Morgan track is strictly reserved for handicap parking, and the Waldron Family Stadium is reserved for team buses and tournament officials.
 
Emmit's Street Eats provides concessions for the event. Outside food may be brought onto the premises, but alcohol is prohibited.
 
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS
 
Field events begin at 11 a.m. Saturday with the men's javelin. Track events start at 1:20 p.m. with the women's 1500 meter trials. Events run through 7 p.m. on the first day. On Sunday, field events begin at 10 a.m. with track events starting at noon.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • Based on projections, the Mount is a candidate to earn high marks at the meet. The Mount men were voted second in the conference poll at the beginning of the season while the women projected third.
  • A total of 29 Mountaineers rank top five in the MAAC across a total of 37 events. Abdulazeez Iyiola leads the men's 110 hurdles, Ethan Demeter and Jacey Hentz lead the men's and women's pole vault, Camryn Jones-Howard leads the women's long jump, Marta Gonzalez Alvarez leads the women's discus, and Brandon Falconer leads the men's javelin.
  • The Mount was led by the javelin, pole vaults, and relays in the final regular season meets at Louisville and Saint Francis. Falconer reached NCAA East qualifying distance for the javelin at 68.56 meters, and Paxton won the women's javelin at 43.37 meters to earn the fourth highest mark in program history. Hentz won the pole vault for her MAAC leading distance of 3.82 meters, which earned a tie for third best in program history. 4x400 relay runners earn either the best or second best times in the MAAC.
FUTURE MEETS
  • Qualified athletes will head to the NCAA Championships First Round East, starting May 27 in Lexington, Kentucky.
