Box Score 2 FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (May 2, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's flag football earned their first-ever postseason victory, defeating Wagner 24-13 in the first round of the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC), hosted by the New York Jets at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Complex. Their season would come to an end in the second round, falling to Franciscan, 25-12.
Jenna Dick threw for 418 yards and five touchdowns at quarterback. Five different Mountaineers found the endzone during the two games. The defensive unit was led by 14 flag pulls from
Madison Kean.
The Mount finishes the inaugural season with a 9-16 record.
GAME 1: Mount St. Mary's 24, Wagner 13
- Jayanna Goines started touchdowns for the day on a pass from Dick for the Mount to go up 6-0.
- Arieon Stokes exploded for a touchdown from a midfield pass for the team's second score.
- Trailing 13-12 out of the break, Jordyn Dodson-Jenson received the go-ahead touchdown pass.
- After defensive stops, Keira Speikes posted the final touchdown to ice the game.
GAME 2: Franciscan 25, Mount St. Mary's 12
- Alyssa Lane provided the spark for the Mountaineers in the ultimate game. She provided a big boost of momentum to deny the Barons a third touchdown in as many possessions.
- With the Mount back on offense, Lane then supplied both touchdowns, including a Hail Mary pass to conclude the first half.
- Franciscan was able to use timely turnovers to stall Mount drives and scored twice in the second half to take the contest.
