EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 24, 2026) – A long Saturday awaits Mount St. Mary's flag football as they close out their inaugural regular season. The Mount faces Mercyhurst and Franciscan over the span of four games, playing each team twice.
 
The Mount is making their final push to the ECAC postseason. The top six teams receive an automatic bid to the tournament, with the final two spots going to the postseason via a coaches' vote. Entering the weekend, the Mountaineers are holding seventh place.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • Last weekend, the Mount wrapped up Conference Carolinas play, falling to #1 seed Wingate in the championship quarterfinals. Annabelle Haught completed 18 passes for 150 yards while Madison Kean led in tackles with five.
  • In their last ECAC games, the team defeated Sacred Heart 50-6 and fell 28-17 to Marymount in the first home flag football contests at Waldron Family Stadium.  
  • Haught is 12 yards away from 1,000 for the season while Kean needs three tackles to reach 100.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE

The ECAC/Jets Women's Flag Football Championship takes place May 2-3 at the Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham, New Jersey.
