EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 3, 2026) – Looking to earn a spot at the Conference Carolinas (CC) Championships, Mount St. Mary's flag football battles Chowan and Wingate in their final two regular season games in CC play.
MOUNT UPDATE
- Mount St. Mary's went 1-5 on a lengthy road trip through CC teams l`ast week. Their victory was against Mars Hill by a 51-13 score.
- Jenna Dick stands 47 from a 1,000 yard season, throwing for eight of the team's 12 passing touchdowns.
- Alyssa Lane leads in receiving yards with 336 while Jayanna Goines has the most receiving touchdowns with four. Keira Speikes has the most rushing yards with 154, along with five touchdowns on the ground.
- On defense, Madison Kean leads in flag pulls with 47. Chloe Lover-Omar has 12 sacks for 56 yards, and Lane and Annabelle Haught are tied for the most interceptions at six.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Before the CC postseason, Mount St. Mary's returns to ECAC play with home games. They play April 11 in Baltimore against Saint Joseph's, and in Emmitsburg April 12 against Sacred Heart and Marymount.
