GAME 1: Siena 3, Mount St. Mary's 0

In the first, Carlie Venables drew a one-out walk and moved to third on an Emma Petersen double to right field. Goewey followed with a home run over the fence in right to give the Saints a three-run lead.
Mount starter
Ellie Meier settled in after the first inning, allowing just three hits the rest of the way in a complete-game effort.
The Mount's
Gina Del Giorno broke up Goewey's perfect game bid with a one-out single in the top of the seventh inning.
GAME 2: Mount St. Mary's 5, Siena 0
Zagronicheck held Siena to four hits while Dinges belted a three-run homer in the top of the first inning to spark the Mount to a 5-0 win in the nightcap.
Goewey started game two as well for the Saints, and it didn't take long for the Mount to get on the scoreboard. Del Giorno and
Sharon Manni led off with back-to-back singles, and Del Giorno stole third with Manni moving to second with no outs. Dinges then blasted a three-run homer, her third home run of the season, to put the Mount ahead, 3-0.
The Mount added two more runs in the sixth to build a five-run lead.
Kelsie Bandelow singled, and
Zoe Pachoca followed with a bunt base hit to put runners on first and second.
Sophia Vlahos then singled home Bandelow to make it 4-0.
Tyra Christian's RBI single to left brought home Pachoca to extend the lead to five.
That was more than enough runs for Zagrodnicheck, who limited the Saints to four hits while striking out four in the complete-game shutout. It is her second shutout of the season as she improves to 4-7 on the year with a team-best 2.82 ERA.
Manni finished the game 2-for-4 at the plate.
