Flag Football Heads to Staten Island, Face Wagner

EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 5, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's flag football looks to build on their positive momentum from their first weekend of play as they take on Wagner for two games.
 
One of the two contests counts towards Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) play.
 
MOUNT UPDATE
  • Impressing in their first weekend of games, the Mount outscored opponents 99-7 in victories over Mercy, Kean, and Penn State Schuylkill.
  • Alyssa Lane won ECAC Defensive Player of the Year honors after securing six interceptions and four tackles. The freshman added 83 rushing yards and 66 receiving yards with two offensive touchdowns.
  • Quarterback Jenna Dick finished with 262 yards and five touchdowns.
  • Keira Speikes was the leading rusher with 102 yards and three scores while Jayanna Goines had the most receiving yards with 78 off nine receptions.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE

The Conference Carolinas portion of the schedule begins March 14 with games against Barton and Wilson.
