ABOUT THE EAGLES: Coppin State is coming off an 11-10 win over Delaware State on Sunday in the final game of a three-game set. The victory snapped Coppin State's 13-game losing streak as the Eagles are now 2-15 overall and 1-8 in the MEAC. Brooklyn Tapusoa leads Coppin State with a .283 average and nine RBI while Julianna Mejia is hitting .255. Debra Hyde leads the pitching staff with a 1-5 record and a 5.08 ERA in 40.0 innings pitched.
THE ALL-TIME SERIES: Mount St. Mary's holds a 44-7 lead in the all-time series with the Eagles. The teams split a doubleheader on March 12, 2024, in their last meeting with the Mount winning 4-3 in the opener and Coppin State 7-6 in the nightcap. Mount St. Mary's is 27-2 all-time at home against the Eagles, including wins in 13 of the past 14 games played at Our Lady of the Meadows Field.
