EMMITSBURG, Md. (March 14, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's remained flawless in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play on Saturday, March 14 with a 20-13 win over Iona. With the win, the Mount moves to 2-0 in conference play while moving to an overall record of 6-9.
Through the first half, the Mountaineers owned a 5-3 lead Against the Gaels before jumping out to a narrow 8-7 lead during the halftime break. But the Mountaineer offense truly started in the second half, scoring 12 more goals in the second half while only allowing six Iona goals to hit the back of the Mount net.
Anna Kegel finished her day in Philadelphia with six goals, an assist, and a steal while
Lotte Schreurs finished play against the Gaels on Saturday with five goals, an assist, a steal, and two drawn exclusions.
Kiele Davidson added four goals onto the team's tally while
Emily Hatcher and
Leilani Horan recorded two-goal outings.
Lucia Redaelli ended Saturday with a goal and a drawn exclusion.
Olivia Fernie recorded five saves in goal against the Gaels.
