EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 28, 2026) – Seeking their second straight win, Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse challenges Cincinnati Sunday on the Bearcats' turf.
MOUNT UPDATE
- With a fourth quarter run, the Mountaineers defeated George Washington 11-8 last Wednesday at Waldron Family Stadium. Shannon McTavish matched her career high with 12 draw controls and led in scoring with a hat trick.
- The Mount is one goal ahead of their competition, with 53 goals scored to 52 allowed. Brooke Molchanoff has the most tallies with 10, followed by Ava Kraszewski with eight. MK Allingham has the highest number of assists with seven.
- Camille Thomas is averaging six saves per game for a total of 24.
SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
- Cincinnati is 4-3 this year with wins over Xavier, Wofford, Central Michigan, and Robert Morris. In their last game, they fell 22-10 to Vanderbilt.
- Paige Selhorn is the Bearcats' most eminent offensive threat with 45 points – divided into 23 assists and 22 goals.
