EMMITSBURG, Md. (April 1, 2026) – Brooke Molchanoff delivered a 4-0 start for Mount St. Mary's women's lacrosse in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play, winning over Siena by an 11-10 score in overtime.
Molchanoff earned the winner with a wraparound shot at the 3:31 mark of overtime, blazing past triple coverage to fire the goal home.
She led the team with four goals and added a pair of assists.
MK Allingham was a multi-goal scorer with two strikes. Five more Mountaineers –
Peyton Sims,
Ava Kraszewski,
Morgan Ortega,
Haylee Bittinger, and
Shannon McTavish – all added one goal each.
On defense,
Hailey Chester and McTavish registered three ground balls.
Mackey Fick and
Emily Lee collected two caused turnovers.
Camille Thomas finished the game with eight saves.
HOW THE GAME UNFOLDED
- Molchanoff earned her hat trick in the first quarter, scoring three of the first four goals as the Mountaineers led 4-2 after one.
- Bittinger, Allingham, McTavish and Sims all posted second quarter scores for an 8-4 halftime lead.
- Siena went on a 6-0 run, taking a 10-9 lead on an Elizabeth Wamp goal with 9:22 remaining in the game.
- Ortega scored the equalizer with 6:20 left to force the extra session.
- After Siena won the initial draw control of overtime, but were stopped on a Thomas save, allowing the Mount to storm down the field and set up the Molchanoff goal.

Back home this Saturday (Apr. 4), the Mount goes for 5-0 in the MAAC when they host Iona at noon. Senior Day ceremonies take place before warmups.
