EMMITSBURG, Md. (February 27, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse hopes to get over the hump against a Monmouth team that they have close to defeating in the past. This Saturday, the team gets another chance to take on the Hawks.
MOUNT UPDATE
- In a defensive contest, the Mount fell 7-4 to UMBC this past Tuesday. Chris Grimaldi, Marcelo Carreiro, Brody Atkinson, and Kevin Whitty all scored goals for the team.
- So far through the first four games the team has scored 34 goals against 50 allowed. Grimaldi is the team leader with nine goals, followed by Atkinson with six. Whitty has the most points with 14 thanks to 11 assists.
- Bennett Wright has 43 saves, good for a percentage of .462.

- Monmouth is 2-1 on the year with wins against Manhattan and Wagner.
- The Hawks have 38 goals with Ty Caffarelli as the leader with 15 scores for the season.
