EMMITSBURG, Md. (January 23, 2026) – Mount St. Mary's indoor track & field are set to compete in duo of meets this weekend, traveling to Lynchburg for the Liberty Open and back up to Lewisburg for the Bucknell Gulden Relays.

LAST TIME OUT:Â Multiple individual successes occurred during the last outings for the Mountaineers. At Navy,
Ethan Demeter won the men's pole vault, while
Garrett Wilkerson (200m, 48.9 seconds) and
Draelyn Crawford (800m, 1:54.19) also won their events. Two additional top five finishers to mention are,
Rebecca Weir who tied for second in the women's high jump at 1.65 for a personal record as well as a top five mark in the program record book and
Alena Murray who finished third in the women's 60m with 7.66 seconds to mark fourth best in program history. At Bucknell,
Kidus Chanyalew, Branden Smith,
Patrick Griffin,
Joshua Dean, and
Michael Cunningham all had top five finishes.

LAST SEASON AT THESE MEETS:Â The women's track and field team placed third and the men's team finished top five at the Gulden Relays last year. Reanna Jones led the way for the women's team to win the 60m dash with a run of 7.73 seconds.
Emelie Beckman and
Julia Kirschnick finished in second and third in the pole vault event.
Arran Fahey,
Donovan Harrington and
Samuel Serrano all took home individual victories for the men's side in their respective events. At Liberty,
Evyn Fitzgerald,
Caleb Nelson, Jaidyn Wisely,
Ella Dougher,
Jada Creager, and
Camryn Jones-Howards all took home top ten finishes.
