EMMITSBURG, Md. (September 3, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's sophomore Carter Quested excelled in his summer league in his native Canada. His efforts led to Quested received British Columbia Junior A Lacrosse League Rookie of the Year honors.
 
Competing for his hometown Victoria Shamrocks, Quested finished the season with 47 assists while also firing home 16 goals. The league leader for assists, he helped the Shamrocks claim the provincial championship.
 
Quested was also an All-MAAC Rookie Team member is in first season at the Mount. He was third among Mountaineers in points, registering 30 goals and 10 assists, starting all 14 games.
 
Mount St. Mary's begins their 2026 season in January.
