EMMITSBURG, Md. (July 10, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's incoming sophomore transfer Anastasios Rozakeas is a finalist to become a member of Greece's U20 National Team and earn the chance to compete in EuroBasket.
 
The 2025 edition of the competition runs from July 12-16 in Heraklion, meaning that Greece serves as the host country.
Competing out of Group B, the team opens with Lithuania on July 12, followed by the Czech Republic on the 13^th and Romania on the 14^th.
 
This will be Rozakeas' fourth time competing on a Greek International Basketball Federation (FIBA) team. He competed on the U15 national team, as well as the 2022 U16 FIBA European Champions. This would also be his second EuroBasket competition, after he played with the U18 team in the 2024 edition of the tournament.
