Men’s Basketball Releases 2025-26 Game Schedule

EMMITSBURG, Md. (August 21, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's basketball releases its schedule of games for the 2025-26 season, as they look to defend their Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) crown.

A full list of games can be found on the Mount's website. Season tickets go on sale for the general public on September 10, with individual game tickets available on September 24. Information on game promotions for the upcoming season will be announced in the coming weeks.

Before the regular season starts, the team heads down Route 15 to Frederick for an exhibition contest with the Hood Blazers. That contest is set for October 29 at the Volpe Center on Hood's campus and will be open to the public.

The following Monday (Nov. 4) serves as Opening Week for the Mount as they travel to face West Virginia in Morgantown. This will be the seventh meeting of the Mountaineers and the first since 2022. Later in the week on Friday (Nov. 7), the team returns home to battle Bucknell and unveil their 2024-25 MAAC Championship banner.

Additional non-conference games include home games against Howard (Nov. 29) and Penn State Brandywine (Dec. 21). The Mount looks for back-to-back wins over the Bison and will host Brandywine for the first time. Eight of the non-conference games take place away from Emmitsburg, including the Catholic Clash at Loyola (Dec. 13) and the first meeting with Drexel since 1988 (Dec. 19).

MAAC play begins at home December 3 when the Mount welcomes Sacred Heart in the 47th meeting between the schools. Fellow MAAC institutions making the Emmitsburg journey are Iona, Saint Peter's, Siena, Quinnipiac, Rider, Manhattan, Merrimack, Niagara, and Canisius. Last year's MAAC Championship reprise against the Gaels occurs on December 29, and Winter Homecoming sees the Rider Broncs come to town on January 24. The home slate wraps up February 22 against the Golden Griffins.

A road swing to Fairfield, Connecticut for games against Sacred Heart and Fairfield complete the regular season before the MAAC Championship in Atlantic City. This year, the tournament moves up to begin on March 5, with a champion being crowned in primetime on Tuesday, March 10.

Mount St. Mary's looks to replicate the successes of the 2024-25 season with Head Coach Donny Lind at the helm for his second season. Along with the league title and trip to the NCAA Tournament, the team sets the program's Division I record for victories by going 23-11.
