EMMITSBURG, Md. (May 17, 2025) – After two delays and much consideration over the conditions of the field, the umpires decided to call off the rest of the series between Manhattan and Mount St. Mary's with no time to make up the games before the start of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference tournament, which is due to begin on Tuesday, May 20.

With the rest of the canceled series between the Mountaineers and the Jaspers, the Mount ends the 2025 regular season with an overall record of 23-27 and a MAAC record of 15-13. With their conference record in hand, the sixth seeded Mountaineers are set to face off against the seventh seed Marist Red Foxes on Tuesday, May 20 in the Single Elimination Round of the 2025 MAAC Baseball Playoffs with first pitch at Clover Stadium in Pomona, New York set for 3:00 p.m.
