Dave Gage for baseball and
Daniel O'Rourke for men's soccer earn the promotions.
Gage joined the Mount baseball coaching staff in 2024, with primary focus as the team's pitching coach. With him at the helm, the team set numerous school records in a variety of categories. They also led the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) in strikeouts in 2024 and were second by a single strikeout in 2025. Under his watch,
Deven Sheerin won MAAC Rookie of the Year and All-MAAC First Team honors in 2024, and two players –
Serigne Sarre in 2025 and
Brendan Yagesh in 2024 – were selected to the All-MAAC Second Team.
O'Rourke has been a fixture of the Mount's men's soccer program for several seasons and is an instrumental part of the team's operation since resumption of play in 2018. Last year, the team clinched a spot in the MAAC Championships, earning their first postseason berth since 2008. Several players earned All-MAAC honors under O'Rourke's tutelage including
Graham Dougald,
Junee Lee, and Jesus Salazar. Gavin Watt under All-Northeast Conference honors before the conference switch.
Men's soccer began their 2025 season on August 21, while baseball begins the 2026 campaign this coming February.
