Emmitsburg, MD (April 1, 2025) – The Mount St. Mary's men's rugby team will be taking on Army in the first round of the College Rugby Association of America (CRAA) National Championship playoffs.

The Mount finished their season on a five-game win streak, beating Mary Washington, Belmont Abbey, St. Bonaventure, Southern Virginia University, and Arizona. In the Mountaineers' most recent contest, they beat Ohio State University 52-7.

The Mountaineers have only faced off with the Black Knights once in the past. The teams met at Echo Field in 2022, when Army took the win.

If the Mountaineers can win on Saturday, they will face off against the winner of Life University and Davenport in the second round on April 12.
The D1A National Championship match will take place on May 3, 2025, in Indianapolis, IN.
