EMMITSBURG, Md. (December 28, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's rugby freshmen Alfie Booth and Raylon Murry along with sophomore Chase Brown were among the 30 college players selected for the upcoming USA Rugby U20 Winter Camp. The winter camp would ultimately provide a pathway for selection to the u-20 national team for the upcoming 2026 U20 Junior World Championships, hosted in Tbilisi, Georgia next July.
 
Brown, Chase, and Murry will be among a selection pool of players from Lindenwood, Western Washington, Life, Army, Gonzaga, Saint Mary's (CA), Davenport, Mary Washington, Arizona, UCLA, USC, California, Ohio State, Penn State, and Indiana. Invitees also come from foreign institutions such as Loughborough University, the University of Nottingham, and Cardiff Metropolitan University in the United Kingdom as well as Sydney University in Australia.   
 
Mount St. Mary's men's rugby ended the 2025 Fall XV's season with a 4-4 record, rounding out their CRAA D1A campaign ranked eighth nationally. Th Mountaineers recorded wins against Davenport, Mary Washington, Penn State, and St. Thomas in the CRAA Rugby Playoff Qualifier.
