Emmitsburg, MD (March 21, 2025) – The Mount St. Mary's men's lacrosse team returns home to face off against the Red Foxes of Marist. The starting faceoff is scheduled for 12 PM and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Mount Update
The Mountaineers' latest contest ended with a loss against the Manhattan Jaspers, 13-11. Freshman attacker Carter Quested led the team in scoring with five goals on five shots on goal. Quested also tallied one assist. Brody Atkinson added another multi-goal game to his impressive season, his seventh of the season. Atkinson leads the team's goal-scoring for the season with 23 shots hitting the back of the net. Aidan Kilduff, Seamus McCloskey, Kevin Whitty, and Collin Thomson each added one goal to the effort. Jaden Saysanam led the team in the faceoff circle, winning 11 of the 21 taken.  Bennett Wright tallied another solid game in the cage, saving 15 shots and allowing 13.
Scouting the Red Foxes
Marist is showing a 3-5 record, 1-1 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) play. The Red Foxes' latest contest came against the Delaware Blue Hens, losing 12-10. Collin Patrick and Drew Anderson each tallied two goals in the contest. Freshman goalkeeper Adam Wachholder spent the game in the net, facing 52 shots and saving 12. Wachholder started in two other games, against Iona and Quinnipiac. The keeper shows a .550 save percentage, tallying 33 total saves and 27 goals allowed.

The Mountaineers will hit the road, heading north to Siena. That game will take place on Saturday, March 29 at 12 PM.
