  • The team has now won eight games out of the past nine. They continued to stand fourth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), one-half game behind Siena.

  • The Golden Griffins have come into their own as the calendar flipped from 2024 and 2025. Under first-year head coach Tiffany Swoffard, the youthful squad has won four of the past six games to jump into the middle of the pack in the MAAC.
  • Graduate student Jaela Johnson leads Canisius in most stat categories, including points per game with 10.9, assists per game at 2.7, and steals per game at 1.2.
