EMMITSBURG, Md. (November 25, 2025) – Mount St. Mary's men's water polo members Aaron Tarr and William Matthews were named to the Mid-Atlantic Water Polo Conference All-Tournament teams on Tuesday by the conference office. With Tarr named to the Tournament Second Team and Matthews named to the Tournament Honorable Mention Team
 
Throughout the 2025 regular season, Tarr recorded an even 78 goals and 78 assists with 45 completed steals and 52 drawn exclusions, recording a team-leading 27 field blocks in all 31 games of the campaign. Tarr also won 30 swim-offs during the year, garnering a win percentage of 0.681%. In the Bronx during the conference tournament, Tarr recorded five goals, six assists, eight completed steals, and drew 11 exclusions.
 
During his 2025 regular season, Matthews recorded 41 goals with 15 assists while completing 43 steals and finishing on 15 field blocks against opponents. During the conference tournament, Matthews recorded 13 goals against opponents, the second most of the tournament behind Wagner's Laszlo Strasser, who scored 14 goals while being named to the tournament first team. Matthews also recorded eight steals, two drawn exclusions, and an assist while playing in the Bronx last weekend.
